The Allahabad High Court will convey its judgment on the 60-year-old Ramjanambhoomi Babri Masjid heading suit today, 30th September 2010.

PM request for harmony & calm.

“Having measured in detail the influence of the parties, we are of the vision that the SLP (special leave petition) has to be dismissed. Consequently, the SLP stands dismissed,” said the apex court’s 3-judge Bench headed by Chief Justice S H Kapadia in a concise arrange.

In the middle of apprehensions of dilemma after the Ayodhya title suit judgment, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Friday appealed to the Citizent of both the communities to maintain peace and harmony irrespective of the outcome of the Verdict.

“I believe whatever be the nature of judgments, I think each person must make all the effort to uphold quiet, concord and harmony in the country,” Singh told reporters after releasing a book at his residence here.

Singh was asked regarding his message to the people of both the communities in view of the receptive judgments on Ram Janambhoomi-Babri Masjid title suits to be delivered by Allahabad High Court on Thursday.

He said his memorandum was enclosed in the appeal issued by Cabinet over a week back.

Distrustful of severe reactions, the Cabinet had adopted a declaration which said that the judicial alternative will not end till all sections are pleased and further lawful remedies would be accessible.

“There should be no effort whatsoever made by any section of the people to incite any other section or to spoil in any expression of emotion that would hurt the feelings of other people,” the resolution had said.

“It goes without saying that the judgement needs to be treated with the utmost respect. At the same time, we must remember the fact that the judgement, at this state, is one step in the judicial process. The determination of the issues need not necessarily end with this judgement unless it is accepted by all parties,” it said.

The resolution had said “in case any of the parties feels that further judicial consideration is required, there are legal remedies available which could be resorted to.”
